App Store & Google Play reviews, on Zapier
Pipe your apps' reviews into any of your Zaps — each one arriving already tagged by sentiment, theme, and severity, so you can filter on what a review means, not just its star rating. New reviews and rating drops trigger Zaps to Slack, Discord, Sheets, or Linear, wherever the team already works.
No spam, just one note when the trigger goes live.
Why Rustle on Zapier
Built for the whole job.
Both stores, one shape
Apple and Google reviews arrive in the same normalized payload. Your Zap never branches on store of origin, so you build the automation once.
Triggers that do the triage
review.created (filter by star rating, or by the sentiment, theme, severity, and bug-report tags we attach to every review) and rating.dropped. First-class triggers, so the filtering happens before the Zap ever runs.
Available on the free tier
Automation isn't behind a premium wall. Review and rating triggers work on the free tier; the paid Indie plan is $9/mo, not per integration.
What can you automate?
Zaps you can wire up
A new review or a rating drop is the spark. Send it anywhere Zapier reaches. These are starting points, not the limit.
The reliability is the product
Exactly once. Or not at all.
Exactly-onceEach review fires your Zap exactly once. Every review is fingerprinted, so you get no duplicates and nothing dropped, even when we re-poll the stores.
Honest timingReviews fire as soon as the stores publish them: Apple within hours, Google about a day. Rustle isn't real-time, because the stores aren't. We'd rather be exactly-once than pretend to be instant.
FAQ
Questions, answered
Does Rustle work with Zapier?
Yes. The Zapier integration is in early access. It turns new App Store and Google Play reviews, plus rating drops, into Zap triggers you can route to Slack, Discord, Google Sheets, Linear, or any Zapier app. Join the early-access list to get in when it opens.
Which review triggers are available?
Two: review.created (a new review on either store, filtered by minimum or maximum star rating and the sentiment, theme, severity, and bug-report tags we attach to every review) and rating.dropped (your aggregate rating falls by a delta you set). See the full events catalog.
Is the Zapier integration free?
Review and rating triggers are on the free tier, so automation isn't locked behind a premium plan. Rustle's paid plan is an indie-friendly $9/mo, not per integration.
How quickly do review events reach my Zap?
As soon as the stores publish them: typically within hours for Apple and about a day for Google. It isn't real-time, but it's exactly-once. Each review is fingerprinted, so your Zap fires once and only once.
Can I filter Zaps by review sentiment or theme?
Yes. Every review.created event carries sentiment, theme, and severity, plus a one-line English summary in any language. You can filter a Zap on those fields — for example, only negative reviews, or only high-severity crash reports — so the right reviews reach Slack, Linear, or PagerDuty without reading each one.
